Fishing Bass Lake Park

A seasoned business executive who lives in the Raleigh-area city of Cary, North Carolina, Alton Delane has advised the companies Dashible and Emissary since 2019. When he isn’t working, Alton Delane is an avid fisherman.

Located roughly 20 minutes south of Cary in the town of Holly Springs, Bass Lake Park is named by multiple authoritative sources as one of the best and most popular fishing destinations in the greater Raleigh region. The park welcomes bank fisherman for free and offers bass fishing tours for a charge. No personal watercraft are permitted on Bass Lake.

Spanning 54 acres of surface area, Bass Lake is a great place to catch its namesake fish species, as well as bream and crappie. Bass Lake Park also works with the North Carolina Community Fishing Lake Program to ensure that the lake is stocked with catfish. The park is open for recreational fishing from 8 a.m. to sunset year-round.
